We are always looking for fellow book lovers to help us drive our work! However, please know that we will not be staffing up paid positions until late 2019.
A quick word about how we approach hiring
After years of hiring, we have learned to be more interested in your personality than your resume. We are an organization that believes in the power of learning - so our lowest priority is understanding that you have done something before. Instead, we want to see evidence that you are a motivated, positive, curious, proactive problem solver. We believe that this is the only kind of team that will drive the extraordinary impact we promise our donors.

Open Position — Other Volunteers
As a non-profit run by former corporate executives, we keep a ferocious eye on the bottom line. We are always looking for law, finance and tech professionals wanting to donate services. We are also looking for individuals in companies willing to donate boxes, plastic pallets or transport. In addition, our projects are largely run on volunteer labor - individuals who want to help us support book drive organizers, sort and pack books and generally move the projects of the Foundation forward. Volunteer commitments vary widely but generally take a few hours a week. Most can be done remotely.
